Faux Paw is a book about a teacher who expects her students to take their education seriously, and a little boy with a wild (Grr...) imagination. The other children in the class follow the teacher's rules and expectations, for a while that is, but NOT Waldon. His mother is called into the school to have a meeting with Waldon's teacher. I could hardly bear the suspense...
The story begins one schoolday when the teacher asks her class what they want to be when they grow up. Waldon says he wants to be a bear. “That’s impossible,” says his teacher, Mrs.Hunter. “Human children grow up to be human adults, not animals!” But, is that really true? You will have to read the story to find out!
