Several years ago I watched a video the fire department created showing how easily a home fire can overtake a family.
In California, we have earthquakes and floods, but we don't get tornados, tsunamis, and hurricanes. However, there can always be some kind of emergency where a family will need water, extra food supplies, access to heat (fire), shelter, etc. One thing I had not even considered until I took the quiz, is that I need at least a weeks supply of food for each animal I have in the home. That means I should have a five gallon jug of water and 14 pounds of dog food at all times in case of an emergency. Have you thought of having emergency supplies for your pets?
The quiz was very user friendly. It took less than 20 minutes. It would have been even shorter than that, but I pondered each answer. Most questions are do you or don't you, and some are multiple choice. This was an eye opening experience for me. Go over to the website HERE, and take your free safety assessment. If you decide you want a detailed 15 to 20 page report, use coupon code MomBuzz and save $10 off the price. That makes a safety evaluation for your home less than $20! I don't know about you, but my family safety is definitely worth that small price! Overall, I had more red marks than I prefer to admit on my MBIntel Assessment. It was quite an eye opener. Once you take your assessment, come back and let us know your results. Is your family safe? Are you embarrassed too? What do you plan on doing with the results?
