I went out to the mailbox and to my glee I found a panda waiting for me! He is cute and cuddly, soft and fluffy, he doesn't mind going to bed with the lights out or me smothering him under the blanket. He just IS, and I like him!
When Pandy came to live with us, he was unzipped and his insides were half in the pillow and half in his body. I put all the stuffing into the pillow and tried to lay on it. It didn't work right. On further inspection I noticed there was a zipper on both sides- one to keep the pillow in tact and one to keep Pandy in tact. That made much more sense. NOTE: When you want to sleep on the pillow, stuff Pandy inside and zip him up. Pandy becomes the stuffing for the pillow! Brilliant! When you want to let him out in the morning, unzip the pillow and stuff it into Pandy, then zip him up. It's a brilliant design.
I like that the material used is much nicer than other pillows with pets. One side of the pillow is velvety and one side is more like felt. My son are both very tactile and we liked that there are two textures to feel. I was worried that Pandy would get dirty quickly since he is white. However, we do not have a problem with Pandy getting dirty, and if he does we can easily spot clean him with a bit of dish soap on a washrag. His stitching is very strong too, and even when we pulled and stretched Pandy to his limit he did not bust a seam.
My son always sleeps with a stuffed animal. He may not want his mom to post that online for the world to see, so shh... don't tell on me... When we traveled he had to be very precise with what he could bring on the plane. Pandy was perfect! He had a pillow for the flight and a friend for the night. We both enjoy Pandy, but there is one problem... We need to get another one now because I want one too!
