"They need to be exercised, hearts do ... to keep them strong."
Every family has skeletons, but the Grayson family has more than its share of secrets--and of portraits. Mystery portraits that incite and obscure. Portraits to die for.
An unsolved celebrity double murder in Pennsylvania. A girl looking for autonomy. A young man in search of an identity. An older man's quest for justice.
A plot that pulls and twists.
Heart of a Philanthropist's Take
Wow! This book stirred up so many emotions! Be prepared to get angry, to appreciate love between a granddaughter and grandfather, to be suspicious of everyone, and to enjoy yourself. A good author produces strong emotions in his/her readers. In this sense, Lee Fullbright IS A GREAT AUTHOR!
The Angry Woman Suite is narrated by three different people. It takes place over six decades. The family is full of dysfunction. There is abuse and even murder. Thankfully, this family is fictitious!
One thing I wish the book did have was a glossary of characters. There were so many people in the book that it was hard at times to remember who is who. I suggest keeping notes on the characters as you read the story. I hope there will be a follow up to this book- maybe after some of the family members get counseling!
